Latest Developments as of November 10, 1998

See the original e-mail or the site editorial regarding Ms. Knowlton.

Late 1998 Here I go again, wasting bandwidth, as some might say. The scores of e-mails I've received since first posting my dealings with Janice Knowlton have tallied to be one negative (thinking I was being "a little too hard" on her) and the remaining telling me that they can't find truth in her story.

Because of anonymity, I can't release the names or e-mails of any of them.

The latest development was last week, when I received an e-mail from Janice, stating that she has again remembered another person who raped her: Gene Autrey. Again, no supportive evidence.

As I've stated before, I'm a pretty sincere person. Ask me for a dollar on the street - it's yours. My winshield is squeaky clean from the guy in NYC who asked if he could wash it for me, and an anonymous child with the Salvation Army gets a gift at Christmas.

All I want to hear from Janice Knowlton is one shred of evidence for anything she's presented to me.

I get notta.

In October, Janice trampled into a Seniors web site and began her, so far, undocumented stories. It's at http://www.snowcrest.net/writers/general/1052.html (thanks to a site visitor).

The latest and greatest? Ms. Knowlton now refers to me as Ms. Gilmore.

As much I as enjoy working with John Gilmore, the relationship is nothing but professional (we haven't met in person). It is because of this and the postings at the above referred URL, that I've come to the conclusion that Ms. Knowlton does need therapy - for her harsh and crass statements to people who just want to know what happened and how it happened.
