Does anyone else find it a bit strange that around 1946 Marcel Duchamp quits making at for 25 years and only after he is dead does he release his final work, which appears quite similar the the black dahlia murder.

Maybe he knew George Hodel somehow.

I just thought I'd add this in, considering the surrealism/black dahlia connection Steve Hodel discusses. Probably far fetched however...
