I read somewhere that no publisher would touch Mary's book and she's had to self publish. Is that true and has any of the other authors?

I think with the exception of Mary's (and i believe Dr. DeRiver's daughter) that everyone has/d a publishing house.

BDA was Arcade, then Perennial and then Harper.

Exquisite Corpse was Overlook.

Depends on what channels of self-publishing you go through, i imagine.

I have considered trying to self publish one of my children stories, but I need someone with the vision of what I am telling about to illustrate. I'm not good at promoting myself.
