| Keep in mind there hasn't been a full disclosure of the autopsy findings. |

that has always bothered me about this case.
what do we know to be a fact about what happened to her? we can't 'see' the supposed sodomy/material in her rectum. where does that come from? as far as i know, it comes from severed. i personally take all that comes from that direction with a big grain of salt.
what else, besides the photos and a few stray comments in the inquest, do we have to ascertain what occurred?
i tried to comment on this once before, in that i could 'see' from photographs that there is a wound above her pubic region and below her navel which has been sliced open. to me, the wound seems to gape more than is necessary if it had just been cut at and left alone. it suggests that something had been placed there at one time, stretching out the opening of that wound as one can see in it is in some of the photos. at that time, i theorized that she had been impaled with something but other, more gruesome thoughts that i'm afraid to even really confront directly come to mind.
whoever started this topic, as morbid as it may be, is on the right track. so far, the conclusion seems to be that the person committing this crime needed a significant amount of privacy and control to carry out what was done. that makes it seem highly unlikely to me that it would have been in a motel, hotel or boarding house of any kind. |

If you adhere to the BDS theory, the cut was made to give Black Dahlia a "horse vagina". And that cut reveals to me that it was not made by the same item that was used to bisect her. That is still a question....
I tend to believe the published reports as to information that was released from the inquest, as there were jurors who "swore" that the information being released was truthful. I just don't believe all the info relating to the autopsy was released. And, I doubt that the time of death released was accurate, based on lividity that we can see from the pictures taken at the drop scene and the "autopsy". The rigor and lividity just don't add up to having been killed just prior to being placed at the site.
As far as the tools/weapons used, my own belief is that it was a surgical kit of some kind (I would think that any medical student would have a "black bag') a baseball bat and possibly rope or other restraints. |
