The Black Dahlia Web Site True Crime Award
The Black Dahlia Web Site Award will be awarded to individual home pages and Web sites dealing
with True Crime Only!!
True Crime, in this sense, means any type of true crime. The sites awarded may focus on a particular
case, solved or unsolved, research of a case, true crime books or related information.
The True Crime Award may be
awarded to a company or individual, but these criteria must be met:
- At least 75% of the site must be related to true crime, or it must be about an author of true crime
- Images must be used - at least five images must be of the scene, suspect(s) or criminal(s), investigators,
maps or other relative image.
- The site's purpose cannot be to sell extended merchandise (merchandise, such as Web site
T-shirts or sponsorships are acceptable).
- Webmasters or Web Authors must present the case(s) in hand with conviction, and they must
be unbiased, unless the site is devoted to the conviction or release of a criminal (in this
case, substantial information about the crime and trial must be used).
- Upon notification of the award, the award logo must be used, and it must link to The Black
Dahlia Web Site.
To submit a site, e-mail your name, the Web site URL (address),
and a brief description of the site. Please do not submit your site unless you meet the criteria.
Also, be sure your Web site is complete and thorough - I will be visiting the entire site and will take
into consideration load time, information-base and links.
You can view award-winning sites.
